After posting Billy Gomila's "Delusional Optimism Says SNAP OUT OF IT" article, it got me thinking that a number of fans might pull the "it's too cold & rainy" card for this Saturday's game.

Anyone else expect a lackluster environment around campus & in the stadium?

it will be better than the auburn game, but it will hurt attendance.

note: current long term forecasts show that the weather may clear during the game.

I'm driving in from Houston and we'll be there, rain or shine! (hoping they sell LSU ponchos on campus...) I asked my college student the same question and she said the rain games are the most fun. Hope it's packed!

Will start raining Friday nite and will be ending before daybreak Saturday. Just an overnight rain event. Cloudy and cooler Saturday.

This is everyone's one-and-only chance to see one of college football's greatest players ever -- arguably maybe even THE greatest college player ever -- to play at Tiger Stadium.

If that doesn't motivate you to show up, I don't know what will. The Aggies will have people there.

Geaux Tigers!

depends when the front comes through

if it is slower rain may come after the game

if faster it should move through, but it could also leave behind some rain showers. This is what happened in the Auburn game the main rain bands came through that Morning it cleared out in the middle of the day but then some storms formed behind the main band of rains and it rained all night. Same thing may happen.

Weather will be a huge factor. It will be windy, rainy, and cold. When the rain stops it will be a cold wind at 15-20mph out of the north.

If you watch the Auburn game it was pretty full at kickoff. Then the real rain hit and kept coming. Once we got up big at halftime I think a lot of fans had had enough of it. I think Atm will be much better, people will come prepared. And there are a lot of fans that really just wanted to see this game. I think it will be better than average.
