I've been slowly tasting new beers this year and certainly have not built up the catalogue that many of you guys on here have, but I've ventured out quite a bit. I thought I would make a list of my favorite ones that I tasted for the first time in 2012:

1) Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye
2) Brux (collab from Russian River/SN)
3) Karbach Rodeo Clown DIPA*this one has become my go-to as a readily available DIPA. Great representation of the style for me.
4) Old Rasputin
5) Real Ale Coffee Porter
6) Ommegang Abbey Ale
7) Oskar Blues Old Chub
8) Real Ale Lost Gold IPA
9) Hoptimum (SN)
10) SS Pine Belt Ale

honorable mention: Celebration by SN j/k

There are still many more I need to get a hold of that I either haven't had access to or just haven't tried yet...

Hoptimum (SN)

is the only one available in Mississippi at the moment. Freaking pitiful. Nice list... I'd like to see some of the others compile a top ten list too.

No, Hoptimum is by Sierra Nevada.

You're thinking of Timber Beast by Lazy Magnolia.

I think I prefer Timber Beast to Hop Rod Rye, though Wookey Jack beats them both

Had Karbach Rodeo Clown a while back, very good, had a little more bite than Endeavor, not as smooth but I really enjoyed it.
Linkovich has some Timber Beast for me, Link you out there?
