So I got the following email from my wife today:

quote:

Ok. U convinced me, I want a zombie gun for christmas. But not a hunting gun, a 9mm or something to be used for home defense.

What does the OB suggest for a 9mm zombie slayer / home defense weapon?

Judge is the correct answer, but he specifically asked for 9mm.

I guess I need to clarify with her if she wants a tactical weapon or a hand gun.

Don't clarify. You have a mandate, son. Run with it. Be creative. This is part of being a man.

This!! Or buy a couple diff ones!! My wife wouldn't make the mistake of telling me to go buy a gun. I'd come home w a few different variaties, just like she does when she goes shopping. She doesn't realize you can't bring guns back.

Judge or LCP -- not a lot of difference.
And she won't know the difference.

jsmoke,
I NEVER thought I'd say this, but if you're trying to avoid breaking the piggy bank, you might look at the..........Hi Point 9mm Carbine. I know Hi Point is the butt of a LOT of jokes, mine included. But I've read some good things from multiple sources (including this site) about this particular gun. Here's a reviews.

I also like the Kel-Tec Sub 2000 rec from earlier.
