Yeti Rambler Lid with Straw is an epic Yeti FAIL

How can Yeti sell a Straw for my Yeti Rambler and not have Yeti emblazoned on the Straw? $9.95 for a Yeti Straw without the Yeti logo is borderline insane and in my opinion a blatant bait and switch.

Go to Sonic
Order a large drink during happy hour
Pay the car hop $1.25
Drink large drink
Remove straw and use in insulated stainless cup regardless of brand
Resist the desire to perform testing on which straw is better then post the results.

Sonic straw diameter will not fit in a standard Yeti lid hole without pinching it...
I tried is why I then got the RTIC, because their lid hole is larger.

If only Shakespeare were alive to satirize this tragedy

Break out the drill bits or a pinch the straw.

No vacuum insulation? Drink would be way too warm by the time it got to the top. Would not buy.

Do you have to pre-cool the straw in the freezer before using?

Did you forget to pre-cool the straw?

I was watching shark tank, and they laughed one inventer out of there (he invented an ice chest/air conditioner) because they said no way someone would pay $400 for an ice chest.
I was giggling like a school girl the whole time.

Great quality American products come at a cost.
It's unfortunate but that's just the way it is.

Come on man. Yeti may make excellent products, but you've got to admit it's out of control. It's a curtural thing now.

You realize that Yeti is in fact imprinted on the straw retainer at the bottom of the straw.

I use the blue straw that comes with a Polar Pop from Circle K.
Stop every morning, buy a Polar Pop, walk out to car, pour Polar Pop into my Walmart bought Ozark Trail, insert blue plastic straw in lid, lasts me taking occasional sips until mid afternoon.
I'm glad that Walmart and Ozark Trail made such an affordable Yeti clone available. I don't care how much money I may have, but I refused to pay the rip off, inflated price for a Yeti tumbler and sticker.
And even if a Yeti was given to me as a gift, I would have thrown away the sticker. No way I would put it on my vehicle and give others the impression that I was enough of a fad follower to purchase a Yeti.
Screw Yeti.
Cheers for Ozark Trail.

I actually worry about people at work seeing my Ozark Trail and thinking it's a Yeti...then judging me for being financially retarded.

This is incorrect first off as their again is no imprint on the straw. And two even if it was NO ONE would see it!!!!
