I have a $400 skillet that I use daily. Worth it. 100%. Not Yeti though...and not cast.

Carbon steel ftw.

I wanna be a fly on the wall at their management meetings.

“So to recap, Frank you’re in favor of revamping the dog bowl and a price increase to $350, but Linda had some concerns about supply chain. frick it let’s just focus on the skillet and circle back to dog bowl next quarter, should also have the feasibly study back on the $800 hammock by then.”

I give them full credit for being essentially the first with rugged coolers, overpriced or not. Same with stainless tumblers.

But I swear, they're just screwing with their customers at this point. I think they sit around smoking a joint and laugh about what they can put "Yeti" on and make a 40X profit margin.

Looks like none of them are actual customers.

At $400 for a cast iron pan, there better not be any customers.

I am about to pull the trigger on a Yeti 105 for my boat. I have a Rtic 45 that I have been using for a few years on the boat but it's just too small. Im tired of running out of space when I have 4 or 5 people on the boat. I love the Rtic I have and it has been money. ITs probably 10 years old. But they do not sell the size I need and Yeti does. I need a bigger cooler with a small footprint. Tall is no issue. Yeti does make the size I need.

Im no Yeti guy. I dont even own one of their hard coolers. But it's funny how guys shite on Yeti for making a $500 cooler but praise Rtic and other for selling the same cooler for $400.

That's how out of touch this shite has gotten...

Those Lifetime coolers are half the price of Rtic. I have a 115 and it’s legit. Not saying it’ll work for you.

I have a small footprint to work with. I need a tall cooler that is not more than 20" deep. 18"is better. If I go deeper, you wont be able to comfortably be able to walk around it in the front of my boat. Im stopping by West marine today with my boat and they are going to let me test fit the 105

Engel had been around where I live long before Yeti, but they still saw a marketing opportunity and seized it. And Yeti wasn't selling a $40 cooler for $400, they were selling a $200 cooler for $400. Very few companies even offered a competitive product when they started.

Selling a $20 pan for $400 just looks like they're trying to see how silly they can get and still sell stuff.
