They looked heavy as hell when I saw them at academy.

They are.

I have a Yeti, don't particularly care for it for what I do with it, but in the class of coolers like em it is the best IMO.

I have two of them. Don't know if they're worth the money, but damn I look cool at the deer camp when I show up with them. And that's all I care about.

Until I open the big one up and it's full of Natural Lite.

Got the Yeti 65 qt for Christmas a few years ago. Great for hunting and fishing trips when ice is not close. If I was to buy one I would check out the K2 coolers. Not as expensive, Louisiana Company, and they look pretty solid

That's what I want it for, keeping deer meat cold at the camp while im there for a week at a time. The closest gas station is 40 minutes away and it gets annoying makin that trip once a day between hunts.
Those "5 Day" coolers will get it done for you, easily.

Someone brought one to the camp last year and worried about it the whole time. Chained it to the rail outside then forgot the key. Had to break the chain.

My Igloo did held ice all weekend and for $50 it wouldn't be life changing if he went missing...

I've had one of my Yetis since 2007. I've never treated it like that. If it got stolen, I wouldn't be happy about it but it wouldn't be a life changing event.

I have one like this. Keeps ice for up to 4 days if your not going in and out. If beer is in it and I keep opening it ice will last day and half.

had it for 4 years.

I've seen some igloos made like a yeti. Not sure if they hold up as good or what the price is. But they look just like them.
