Wait what? I feel like I should know but I'm not connecting the dots on "polypro". Only thing I can link "polypro" to is polypropolelyne.....and that's a type of plastic....

Synthetic long underwear. It has a distinctive fragrance after you've been wearing it for several days. Sort of a combination of body odor and toxic chemical release

1. Floating human corpse about 4 days dead

2. Human corpse buried in shallow grave....had been there a week.

3 burning human flesh

House an elderly family member died in in august in Nola and was not found for 6 days.....was awful but nothing like the top 3

I've smelled every kind of dead rotten animal, all kinds of Katrina waste, a few very sunburnt dead people, dead stuff in coolers for 6 months, etc.

Worst by far was this old beer/throw up /champagne/floor cleaner water that I had to wash up from the clubhouse at a golf course. It sat in the sun for two days after a big party and just stewed. I have had human waste water on me, dead animal guts, and my dog farts a couple of times a day. This was the only thing I have ever smelled that made me gag. I laughed at people who threw up after cleaning out meat freezers from the hurricane, but this smell was 4k times worse. It was almost 15 years ago and I still remember it vividly

When you get up close and personal with a lower gi bleed or some burnt human flesh, then you will know what it means to have bad memories of a smell. Those smells are magnified by the visuals and you never forget them.

I can close my eyes nearly anytim and think about an incident...many year ago...and that burnt flesh smell comes right back.....horrible

The Mayor could not smell and he got that shite on his pants. Me and my buddy rode in the back of the truck the rest of the day instead of riding up front in the AC.

A freezer full of rotten food is second on my list.

We cleaned out a house in New Orleans with one dead old woman in it and two dead dogs on the back porch that were chained up. I'd guess it was maybe a week or 1.5 weeks into it. Oddly enough that wasn't the worst thing I've ever smelled, but it was top 5

Also had a rat fall in between our walls behind the kitchen cabinets. Nobody would even come within 10ft of the house, but my roommates and I stayed there the whole time. It took 3 months to decompose inside the wall

Ok that was so bad I forgot to post.
Back about 1965, Lake Chuck, ol man forgot a wash tub full of shrimp heads in the trunk of our Fairlane.
Never smelled anything worse.

Had some calf liver "marinating" in garlic powder and hot sauce for a couple of days for trotlines. That was beyond terrible and I dont even remember catching anything with it!

If Mrs. Wales were awake, her answer might be the fart I just ripped in the bed.

It stunk to the point of making people gag when they walked inside. You could even smell it when walking up to the house. We had candles, plug ins, spray stuff, opened the windows all day, and even sprayed cologne. Nothing helped
