Worst Smell You've EVER Smelled?

I think that we have all (or know someone that has) accidentally forgot fish in a cooler or ducks in a tool box or walked up on a dead cow that floated up on a bank.....what is the worst thing that you have ever smelled in the wild/semi wild?
#2. Back in high school of of my friends asked me to grab us each a beer out of the cooler in the back if his truck....well it was a set up because there was some fish that had clearly been in that cooler for over 2 weeks
#1. When I was 10 or so me and one of my friends were walking around the woods with our 22s. We came upon a dead cow and it was swollen real bad and starting to split. We decided to starting shooting it with our 22s. Well this opossum crawled out of the a-hole of the cow and when it did the a-hole split and a river of horrid slime, rotten juice and that possum came pouring out. We both threw up for hours!!!

Ridin down the intercostal canal in PA I see horns sticking up out the water. We bust a u turn go check it out. It was a 8 pt that was dead for a while. As soon as I pulled it out the water I started gaggin. However being the redneck I am, I ended up holdin my breath as much as I could and cut the rack off with a bait knife.

Anatomy and physiology lab. We cut on dead cats. One semester it
wasnt so bad, but the last semester someone forgot to put the cats in the freezer. Rotting cat + formaldehyde every lab. I still get a little queezy thinking about it.

Squirrels chewed a hole in the lid of my birdseed bin. Heavy rain and a week in the BR heat. I wore gloves and could still smell it on my hands after washing them.

Actually the handle comes from my 16 year old daschund (RIP)..dude had some pretty bad breath but nothing compared to the stories in here.

I forgot chicken livers in a cooler one july day...opened that cooler the next weekend. Think i saw a buzzard fall over dead when it flew by

Boat ride up a creek and there was a dead alligator caught in a hoop net. Nasty.

There is something about water and death that magnifies the stench! That reminds me....I use to run a 5 set of hoop nets as a kid. Every once in a while baseball, basketball or football would get in the way of me running them and they would soak an extra couple of days.....dem turtles stank!!!!!

Summertime a cow had after birth hung up. Took a week.. and half to get it penned up. Reached in and when I got it loose and it came out it was the worst thing I have ever smelled. Washed my hands in gas and diesel and they still stunk
