Anybody on the OB know where you can get an inspection sticker with illegal tint. Went to get my wifes car done yesterday and they turned me around are her windows are right at legal but a tad bit to dark.. Seems like they are cracking down on these inspection sites over window tint...I dont know about yall but i cant stand riding around with my windows looking like a fishbowl

My vehicle is registered in west baton rouge which has to have emissions test. Soo anywheres in ascension, west baton rouge, iberville, east baton rouge, or livingston..or someone who doesnt care and will just slap on on the windshield

Yes, but I went to the car wash that does inspection stickers too. Next to Subway.

I disconnected my switch, just in case. But he didn't even ask about them.

Yea i find it pretty stupid that window tint is such a big deal, but i guess if your a cop and know that cops have been shot through tinted windows then they have their right

Lol

I got a new windshield 3 years ago and couldn't get a sticker due to tint. So I've had no sticker at all for 3 years with no ticket. I shite you not I've even gotten 2 speeding tickets and they didn't even notice.

It's almost to the point where even a ticket would cost less than buying an inspection sticker the past few times

No inspection sticker is much better than an expired inspection sticker. They are color coded so they are pretty much a red flag.

Plenty of states don't require inspection stickers. So if you're passing thru a checkpoint, for all they know, you could be from somewhere else.

But to answer your question.... No. There used to a lot of places around town. Gubment busted a lot of them and took their licenses so now they are all extremely strict. Good luck.

Dude, I had a trooper pass me (him going south, me north) on Hwy 71 S of Bossier City, at dusk, and spot my sticker was out. $150 of rip me a new one. Also, been popped by Shreveport PD doing insp. sticker search at focking redlights. You're a lucky bastard is all I know. I learned my lesson and pay in advance now. They can still kiss my arse though. It has shite to do with safety, it's all about revenue generation. These hoopty pieces of shite that smoke like they burn a qt of oil every 20 miles still have their stickers don't they?

Seriously. Now no one can have a nice cool car in the summer because cops can't simply ask someone to step out of their car.

ETA: except the cops, who themselves can have dark tint on front windows

Like CC said, I think not having a sticker is way better than having an expired one. They just assume out of state.

Can't explain how they missed it when I got my speeding tickets though, considering they had to run my license/plate/registration

Kind of regretting saying this now. Probably gonna get popped heading home just bc I said something about it

It's $60 every 2 years to take your tint off and replace it when getting a new sticker. You won't find anyone who will give you one since there are huge fines for service stations getting busted now.
