Wild hogs tearing up my backyard

Been in my house 3 years never had a problem with hogs. Well about 4 days ago I went outside early and saw 2 hogs each about 50 lbs a few houses down. I watched them and then they spotted me and hauled arse. Well these same 2 hogs for the last 2 days have torn my backyard up and now I want to get rid of them. I don't want to shoot them. Anyone have some good advice to get rid of them. I was thinking maybe a motion activated sprinkler? BTW I have a aluminum fence but they just bend it up getting in and out.

Clay pigeon completely covered in mayo should do the trick

Should I Google clay piegon? I don't know what this is.

I don't think a sprinkler will work. You can try and trap them, but you gonna have to eventually shoot them anyway. But if you have 2 now, it will be 20 in 6 months.....kill them while you can BAMN!

Welcome to the war. Trapping is always an option but they learn and are pretty trap saavy. They dig under pipe and barbwire fences up here where I'm at, so I don't know. I know you said you don't want to shoot them, so maybe find someone who does want to shoot them? I took down a big sow while catfishing a couple months ago on the river, and I still don't regret it.

So they don't like the taste of mayo?

They will eat it and you won't have to worry about them

Holy shite that would piss me off. Can you string a strand or two of electric fence near the bottom? Might be able to get or paint insulators black so wouldn't look as noticeable.

You can shoot them in MS.

So you'd rather they die a painful death rather than do it humanely?

Yeah I guess so.
I will give it some thought but yeah I am not for the slow painful death. I may just wait in the bushes with my flame thrower.

I was just thinking burning alive was a good way to go.

The hogs know you're a pussy and will exploit that. You're in for a rough ride.

Why on earth are you opposed to shooting them? If you are not shooting them on sight, you sir, are part of the problem

I live in a gated community that backs up to a preserve I don't think my neighbor's nor my home owners association will appreciate me shooting up the neighborhood.
