Anyone have thoughts on the integrally suppressed 22's?

I’ve looked at them and decided against it.

I wanted move it between guns.

Only a few semi .22 mag pistols
Keltec PMR
Walther WMP
S&W M&P .22 mag.

I think that only the Walther comes with an adapter.

Seems like a waste of money and time for a .22 though.

Go shoot a suppressed bolt action .22 and report back. Better yet take a selfie after.

I could see it as a novelty, I just dont have the time or money to buy novelties with two 17 year olds in the house now. Nor the desire to lengthen a carbine size .22

But I am sometimes too practical for my own good...

Just why bother with a 22 silencer.

You do realize that a .22 silencer is the same one you would use for a .17 HMR, right?

And as others have stated, it makes a pistol “Hollywood Quiet”

Literally PEW PEW

I have .22 AR SBR with a 4.5” barrel and MCX folding stock. It fits in small backpack nicely. I run a Silco SparrowII on it full time. It’s pellet gun quiet with CCI standard velocity rounds. The short barrel doesn’t allow standard velocity to go supersonic. I can hit a human target out to 100 yards with it pretty easy.

Like that. I got a Ruger charger with a 8” barrel. Very similar set up.

Look into the volsquaren carbon fiber barrels for the charger. They are badass and shed a bunch of weight off of it.

I think they could be fun to play with but I hate the idea of giving Uncle Sam $200 and all the forms for a .22 suppressor.
