Why Do They Randomly Capitalize Words in a Sentence?

I just had to log in to jump into this shite show.

For a second, I thought I had clicked in an OT thread.

It has everything: someone yelling about old people (ironic, considering the source); bad math; other posters calling out the bad math, while also using bad math; "communism is bad" comments...

I think we are just missing a 350 comment, "pics or it didn't happen", and a "you know the rules" when someone references their daughter (or, in this case, a shot pattern).

The thread just points out that the early post ww2 era folks always seem to convert yards into feet, when you are telling them a story. It must come from the Navy, as most of them were in the navy, or, maybe they worked at Higgens boats.

At least we old folks know how many feet are in a yard, and it ain't 12.

more like 93 ft, a meter is like 3" over 3ft so there is a little bit more than 1meter equals 3ft

Where did the OP mention anything about meters?

There’s 3 feet in a yard.
3 x 30 = 90

Every sentence has a subject. Old folk converting was the subject, not the numerical figures.

EF Hutton

3X30 = 90
3X30 does not equal 360. Go back to square 1, do not collect $200.
Learn math before posting.

Shows how much of a dumbass NAWLENS is. The number figures were just a random throw out. The SUBJECT of the title was the intent of why that gen does that.

Nawlins, go back to English class before you post.

Also go back to reading class. Just RIGHT ABOVE YOUR ignorant post, you see me posting 3x30 = 90.

You jumped the gun and made yourself look like a fool. NAWLINS .
