Works pretty well. Only used it a handful of times, so far so good. The burners could probably be a little stronger because it takes a while to get boiling. That’s just more time to drink beer so I don’t complain much.

Could probably fit 3 sacks with no fixins. Going to try and do 3 sacks and fixins separate in June for a family reunion.

I’m more convinced than ever that there’s price fixing going on with crawfish farmers. Price has been the same for 6 weeks, despite all the good weather. I think that Easter is when they make their money and there’s an unwritten rule that they keep prices high until after Easter.

Meh, if they were smart they’d keep em the same price they were 3 weeks ago. Spillway ain’t doing anything so the pond fishers can do what the hell they want honestly.

I did ours yesterday. Voted “great” by family.

Live in Tn and had to set up under carport. Breezy and drizzling rain. Temp was in 40s, but the Bourbon kept me warm.

Have a Happy Easter. Enjoy what you can, and ignore the rest.

FIL has 2 gated off sections straight across from Adams. He went in there this week and couldn’t touch his trap leaning over the side of the boat. Probably would’ve had to pick them up over his head when he picked em up last year.

So he’s stealing our fish? I’m going to get out there with cutting torch.

Just picked up 3 sacks caught on Verret side, they are very nice.

It’s “ponds” he leases. Speaking of gated off waterways, Troy Landry hand picked these baby lobsters for MIL. Biggest sack I’ve ever seen.

just getting back...the two sacks I boiled were like that...they turned out well...
caught a few bass in the pond...smoked some burnt ends...
boiled crawfish...the kids had a easter egg hunt...
drank some of SIL's good home brew...
everybody made it home without any drama...
pretty good easter...

6 weeks ago the farm price was $2.75. The week before holy week is $1.50, went up to $1.75 on holy week and will probably drop to $1.25 this week
