Depending on the day it varys for me. If I've been in a funk or if I really feel confident in the day I'll stay longer and come back earlier or stay all day but normally I sit for about 4 to 4 1/2 hours in the morning from 5:30-10ish and in the evening from about 2:30 to dark.

I usually only get to hunt 2 days a week, so I hunt almost all day or all day.

I've had a lot of luck late morning (9-11).

Every now and again I'll stay all day. If hunting public land the best time is when everybody else is getting down from their morning hunt or going out to their evening hunt. The deer start getting bumped and running by.

Rut, all day.

Any other time, morning and evening unless I just feel like I need to be there.

I don't set a time limit on how long I sit. Sometimes I last 30 minutes. Sometimes I stay all day.

Really depends where I am hunting. Some of the spots I like to hunt on public land take me 45 mins to walk to. Those are usually all day spots.

Most days its hunt until 1130-1200. Evenings are 200-230 until dark.

We have built big comfortable box stands at our place so we can stay as long as you want, but most of the time we hunt until 11:30. Walk to the camp to eat lunch and get back in the stands by 2.

I usually see them in the 1st hour of daylight, between 9-11, or within the last hour of light.

I've never had much luck on rainy days if it's anything more than a drizzle

Most of the time, just morning and evening. There's always several of us at the camp, plus my young son, so it's more than just the hunting that we go for.

drizzle

This makes me want to find a box stand and sit all day...with a few naps included.

I dang sure have to have a nap between hunts plus food and water

I hunt as long as I can, and if I don't have to be somewhere doing something........I'll hunt all day any day.

Raining or very cold then I'm out all day. If it's windy I limit my time in the woods, regardless of the direction. I also hunt mid day as much as early morning now days.

Review your game cams and see what time patterns the deer are active in the area. Hunt during those times.

Mid 40s, steady drizzle in late January (in NW FL) and you would need the miliyary and an act of Congress to get me off the stand.

I've stayed put as late as 1 pm. I will also make some short mid day hunts. I never sit all day.
