There's a difference between accidental brandishing and negligent brandishing though, just like accidental and negligent discharges.
If you walk around all day with your shirt up showing your piece, that's negligent. But if the wind blows and your shirt pops up for a second, that would be accidental.
I understand the vocabulary and examples very clearly but its your duty to maintain concealment. If you're in the grocery line bending over and your firearm is shown to the lady behind you and then goes to get the cops, it could get uncomfortable and there could be punishments depending upon how big of dicks they want to be. It's your duty to maintain concealment regardless of the wind blowing your dress up.

Just keep in mind that if they are wood grips and are pressed against you, it will discolor from the sweat over time.

I looked three tomes and like a different one better three times.
They all look good.
They all look good.

I think I'm going to order these for my stainless 938. Can anyone speak to the difference in the double diamond vs. the tactical VZ grips?

Does anyone have little kids and CC every day? Does your kid know you have a gun on you when CC'ing?

Daughter's 3 and my son is 2. I cc in their presence. I know they can't grasp the concept at this point so it hasn't been discussed.

There seems like a fine line for a gun being small enough to carry and big enough to be pleasant when practicing with it. I can't get into the two finger guns like that. I'll just have to be uncomfortable with the compacts, the subcompacts just wouldn't get enough practice rounds through them.

my daughter is 3.66 roughly yrs older and i think she'd more than comprehend the fact daddy has a gun on his backside. Just wondering how to explain/tell her so she isn't rambling about it. She sees my rifles and stuff sometimes.

I have a 14 year old and a 9 year old...they both know I carry. I have carried for 4 years now I think.
My daughter had some boys wanting to help put her bags in the car for her at pick up....and she was like well you can but my dad is picking me up today and he usually has a gun in his truck...

Good question. If she did tell someone in passing (grocery store, mall) you're well within your rights carrying. I'd probably laugh it off to be honest.

I have a P238 its my carry gun...I didn't want it to be shinny and eye catching...so I went with the all black (nightmare) type of look on mine.
I went the Scorpion route for my P238 but I haven't seen it in the P938. I like the Rosewood and Equinox in the 938.

Yes, it could possibly get uncomfortable, but highly unlikely. Who knows, the other person in the grocery line knows may think you're a LEO of some sort and not even say anything. How YOU, the person carrying concealed, respond will largely determine how things go.

If the situation is as simple as an accidental brandishment and the person carrying concealed responds properly, from my understanding of the cc laws of LA, there will not be punishment.
quote:Yes it is, but unforseen things happen in life. Personally, I'm not worried about wind blowing up my "dress," although it's always possible wind might catch my shirt.
It's your duty to maintain concealment regardless of the wind blowing your dress up.

When you take your class, I'm sure the teacher will go over w/ the entire class re: the duties of concealed carry, how it relates to accidental/neglident brandishment and state laws regarding accidental/negligent brandishment.
