Look inside one of the kitchen doors on the RV.
There's a weight chart sticker.
Know the difference between UVW and CCC.
•UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Weight). The total weight of an RV as it was delivered to the dealer. It does not include any dealer installed accessories.
•NCC (Net Carrying Capacity). This is the actual amount of cargo allowed. It is in simplest terms, GVWR - UVW = NCC. This is sometimes listed as CCC (Cargo Carrying Capacity)
If you get too high in weight, you'll have less weight capacity for things you want to pack with you.

Crooked Creek Rec Area - Ville Platt

We usually camp at Chicot SP, but recently discovered Crooked Creek. It is run by Evangeline Parish. Some of the reviews say there's lots of locals w golf carts and loud music. Does anyone have experience camping here? Looking for better fishing than Chicot.

Do you keep the factory mags in your 1911, or do you toss them and go with Wilson Combats? I keep hearing factory mags from almost all brands are horrible, and Wilsons are the most reliable. Opinions?

Most gun shops are OK w buying as a gift for family members, especially fathers buying for sons. It's illegal to purchase a handgun in LA if you're under 21, but legal to own at 18. Dads buy handguns for 19 yr old sons all the time. A straw sale is when one person gives money to another to go purchase a gun for them.

No, they're designed so guns and knives won't set them off. They only pick up on prosthetic devices, nuclear warheads, car keys, and metal plates in customers' heads. :rolleyes:
CG's in the park will not have showers, and most don't have electricity. Fontana Dam has showers and is known as "The Hilton" to AT trail hikers. For car camping, just stay at one of the many private owned CG's or a State Park.
Also, check out DeSoto State Park and the Chattanooga area state parks. Similar scenery with a 4 hour shorter drive. Little River Canyon in DeSoto is absolutely beautiful.

just change out the lower unit oil. Run the old oil through a strainer, and check for any metal shavings.
