When you take your class, I'm sure the teacher will go over w/ the entire class re: the duties of concealed carry, how it relates to accidental/neglident brandishment and state laws regarding accidental/negligent brandishment.
I've already had my CC permit, it expired. May do again, info i'm passing on is from my instructor who taught me the class. I'm leading you horses to the well, you don't want to drink... then you'll have to drink your own urine later when you're thirsty.

I'll let bapple speak for himself, but as far as this "horse," I drink just fine.
I'll give your instructor the benefit of the doubt as it's possible the laws (or interpretation of the laws) have changed since he taught the course you took. At any rate, the hypothetical incident previously described doesn't fit the dictionary description of brandishment. It doesn't seem to fit the description from the LSP concealed carry website, either. "When the handgun is being carried, brandished, or displayed under circumstances that create a reasonable apprehension on the part of members of the public or a law enforcement official that a crime is being committed or is about to be committed." I'm not an instructor and will admit I could be wrong. I'm open to looking at info from more definitive sources.

welp gona have to wait to get the sig. went in academy they had one.. told him i wanted it.. he said this is only one "which has been on display 2 weeks" so i told him i would have to look it over good. well as luck would have it i found a small nick on the slide.. like a little chip. so i told him i was gona have to wait.. and he looks at the gun and says you sure pay alota attention to detail thats a tiny mark. and i replied "well then why dont u pay the $750 and i will take the gun and that tiny mark home with me" i mean dam sorry for being a dick but if im paying that much i want it to be out of the box in perfect condition.

I don't really care which model it is, but my 938 Extreme is by FAR my favorite out of all my handguns. If the time would ever come that I would have to reduce or eliminate my firearms, it would be the last to go.
You're gonna love it!
