I'm with you but unfortunately crabs are just as expensive right now. At least where I'm at.

You will need some luck to find them and they won't be cheap. The numbers are way down. Probably 1/3 of what it normally is this time of year.

much to my surprise I got some from Winn-Dixie last year. I put 2 sacks on hold at 3.96
lb. unfortunately they went to 4.19 so I'm sure I'm going to have to pay that if it holds until Friday.

Got a sack reserved from Rouses. I think the wife said $4/pound but it might be $4.50. I really wasn't listening to her like usual.

I get my Good Friday crawfish after the Easter vigil because I’m fasting on Good Friday.

I’m allergic so bought for the son and wife. Told them to enjoy because that’s it.

Bought a couple lbs of boiled today at 5.25/lb to peel and use tails for cooking dinner. Worth it. That cream sauce was it.

I’m not getting crawfish on Good Friday. I love crawfish as much as anyone but refuse to pay these prices. Maybe if the prices come down next month when the spillway crawfish come in I’ll get a sack. At this price they can keep them. I’ll have boiled shrimp. Shrimp are about the only seafood where prices have not gone up much in 20 years.

We boiling 2 sacks of ditch roaches, a box of crabs, and 10lbs of shrimp.
