Looks like parts of pontchartrain, hopedale, and Delacroix are heating up. I had a buddy fly over hopedale and find nothing but dirty water outside of the MRGO and parts of Elois. Lake p is enticing because it’s a shorter trip for me but the wind makes that difficult. I’ll be either in lake p or deep in the Biloxi marsh somewhere looking for big trout.

Venice. Wahoo bite has been phenomenal and word on the street is the trout showed back up. Guess we’ll see this weekend.

On the Columbia river. Spring Chinook are showing up.

About a thousand sea lions are already here waiting for them feeding on the migrating smelt run in the mean time.

I was going to change it up and target crappie at a different lake but I'm just going to go to Lake Texoma.

The stripers have started pre-spawn pattern here so the bite has been slow. My plan is to troll some umbrella rigs until I find some fish and then target with sassy shad swimbaits and Thundersticks.

Hitting the rocks in the back bay at Grand Isle Sunday morning. Tide & wind looking good but might get some rain.

Got a crawfish boil I'm hosting tomorrow. Hope I'm not too "tired" from it Sunday, winds out of the west today should clear up water in the Biloxi marsh and you know that's where I'm headed regardless.

I know everyone is tagging the fish in the lake, but I really want some top water and I've never had luck with that in Lake P.

What do you mean by the rock in back bay of Grand isle. Trying to get better at fishing that area.

Behind the island there are many made chains of rock piles. Can see it on Google Earth easily.

We are on the same page here. I’m going to go to a spot that’s produced a few big trout on topwater the last month and then go deep in the marsh to put eyes on stuff for spring. I’ll let you know how it goes

Seeing reports at the trestles from the past 2 days. Probably caught the right tide and conditions. 5000 people likely out there this weekend and almost no fish will be caught. Just a guess.

Bayou Rigaud & the North side of Fifi Island. Plenty of rock piles to fish.

I was thinking about heading to the Biloxi marsh but I think me and the boys are going to run some noodles and perch jerk in veret or polourde. I’ll hit BSL and marsh in the next 2-3 weeks

Caught 22 around the MRGO this morning from about 8-10:30. 50/50 on a one knocker and 17mr

Finished by fishing deep in Biloxi marsh to about 12:30 and only found 1 more.

didn't make it to Henderson...ended up in Blind River out of St James Boat Club launch...
visited some friends with camps down the river and checked on buddy's camp on Conway...
was only out for couple of hours but ended up with 7 bass all small except a good one I "tried" to boat flip...

beautiful day on the river...
