Where the ducks at? Better watch yourself around chef pass and sauvage, icww etc. all newly purchased land and being leased out. They are running fishermen out. I’m lucky enough to know a guy in it and we killed a few birds. A fellow poster is in with the big timers there and they are slaughtering ducks.

Yep one of the guys that put group together from tangi

Should be a story coming out in a few weeks about wardens busting a group on private land near Southeast Pass in the middle of Pass A Loutre WMA (Goose Lake area). Got caught with 155 teal. We have long suspected them of feeding on said private land. That seems to be the case with that many ducks based on the current conditions down there.

Sunday about 4:45 pm - 5:10 pm there were THOUSANDS of ducks flying over Metairie toward the north. I guess it was so cold they said "heck with this! Let's go back up north!!!!!".

There is a goose guide around Hayes that got busted opening day for over the limit on specks. The dumbass guided that morning and tagged two for him him at the picker and posted pictures on Facebook. Then he hunted that afternoon and shot 2 more. Wardens saw it in Facebook and got his tag art the pickers. Stupidity deserves a penalty.

not sure just hearing snippets from folks.....but I know one of the people very likely to be involved - note not a friend of mine.. I only have about two dozen of those... trying to find out for sure...but if it is it's a name most on here would or should recognize..

not really, I've been doing this along time in different parts of the state so I know a lot of folks and talk to a lot of folks.. some want my opine... other's I want their opines. and waterfowl violations especially major ones are handled by federal govt - they are slow to react and generally don't proceed unless they have a rock solid case.

Gonsoulin?

I hunted right on their property line 2nd split opening weekend. The way the birds were just coming strait to their blind was ridiculous. The birds weren’t giving us the time of day 500 Yard’s away.

I’m not accusing anyone. I’m just saying what I saw. And I do believe his lease is the one we were on the side of.
