Right now we have quite a few of them.
3 feeders and there are several that hit each feeder.

We just had them start frequenting the feeders regularly in the last couple of weeks. I honestly can't remember seeing many since turkey season until now

We put up all three of our feeders being we have started to see more hummers. They are really fighting more also. The regulars don't want the newcomers getting their food.

Saw first one today. Have a couple week old juice, going to clean and freshen up tomorrow.

Where are all the hummingbirds this year?
Have 3 feeders out and more hummers this month that last.

I have 3 or 4 on my feeders right now. Not as many as usual, but it’s still early.

We've had our usual hummingbird activity throughout the summer. Hard to get a good count of how many birds but we put out 2 to 3 gallons of nectar per week May thru August. Keep four feeders active and add a few more when the south bound migration kicks in. The first two weeks of September are always crazy with migrators stopping on their way thru. Fun to watch.

Thanks for these updates.
I read these posts yesterday which made me put out my feeder. I’ve seen 3 visitors in the last 30 minutes.

Just started showing up on the Mississippi gulf coast. Had 4 today at our feeders.

In Mandeville had a single one pass through a week ago, and this morning another one showed up but was hanging around. Normally will have 10+ on my feeders this time of year.

Picked up quite a few this weekend. Now have three feeders up. I swear last year for a couple of weeks in late September and early October I believe I had 50. I suspect we have 10 or 12 now.

Saw a 100+ in west Alabama on Saturday. Said they showed up a couple of weeks ago.

Central Alabama, we had one or 2 buzzing around so we bought some feeders. Now there's 8-10, fighting like crazy. Looks like a mini episode of top gun in my front yard. More are showing up every day.

We are just starting to get a few here in south Texas. It's usually in September when we have the most.

Just had three new males appear. It's starting.

I have 4 cherry tomato plants in pots on my deck railing. Several visits a day - looks as if they’re attracted to the red tomatoes but they figure out that’s not what they’re looking for and will spend a minute or so feeding on the tomato blooms.
I think the little bastards have speared a few tomatoes.

I’ve got a few here but they are very active. Hoping to see more in Sept
