No one seems to know, I have been told all the exclusive Yamaha Boat manufacturers have been taken care of, but the preferred have not, which makes me think at least 3-6 months of not longer. anyone know ?

Was at a dealer today that said 300s are out until 2025

Neigbor was just telling me the other day that his BIL is trying to repower and the dealer told him they needed a down payment but couldn’t even tell him a delivery date or cost!!!
I know of one boat that has been on order since before Christmas and the reply as always been a couple of more weeks.

I was told 6 to 9 months after full payment for a single.

Becoming more and more common with a lot of different things.
frick that no cost thing though. I can semi-live with unknown delivery, but I will know the price or I aint buying

Going to the new boats. Might be able to get a Suzuki within a year. One might pop up somewhere if you're willing to drive.

Yeah been seeing it with work and longer lead items that were change ordered to death prior to delivery due to material and transportation cost and no repercussion to the vendor and actually happy to get it.
I can’t imagine paying 25% over anticipated price on a 25k$ motor and being forced to forfeit my down payment.
Crazy times

Yeah I went to a buddy with connections with new boats first, this is the pecking order.
New boat manufacturer that are yamaha only
New boat manufacturers that are yamaha preffered
Other new boat manufacturers
Mega motor dealers
regular dealers
Looked at suzuki, they just had another 5 percent cost increase while i was on the phone with the dealer who said you are paying suggested retail plus right now, and they have 5 on the lot paid for but can’t put them on boats because there are no steering cables, and if something breaks or goes bad warranty or not good luck finding the part to fix this.
The dealer told me I need to wait a few years for this craziness to settle, repeat the guy that sells the motors told me not to buy them right now.
Can’t get a long block from Yamaha period, can’t find a rebuilt one, about to just buy a ducking used evinrude or something and try to get a few years out of it. I have a great loaded boat ready to go otherwise and it’s basically completely useless.
This is fricking nuts

I know a guy that works at the biggest G3 boat dealer in the country and they don't have any outboards for their new boats and no clue when they will come in.
You can go buy a boat but no motor. And G3 is a Yamaha only boat manufacturer. It's been that way for months.

To think, I was unhappy it took 8 months to get my 200 Zuke last year. Guess I should count my blessings.
My current vigil is waiting on my Honda SxS. Some shite. “Maybe next week’s truck”

Buddy just got his (4) Suzuki 350s delivered last week. Ordered them August of last year. They weren’t able to give him any idea of when he would get them until the week they shipped.
