I see several English lab breeders who specialize in "white labs." Of course, there's no "white" category, so I assume these are just yellows that have been bred to be lighter and lighter over time. Does anyone have one?

I put them in the same category as my wife's friends on Facebook that are selling wraps to help you lose 20lbs over the weekend.

My dad has a 5 year old "white" lab. He got it from a breeder in N. MS as a puppy. He was very wary of a puppy mill, so he drove up there to check out their operation. Very nice, high dollar place. His lab is snow white and is the most mild-mannered lab I've ever seen. We had yellows growing up and they were great, just so much energy. Supposedly a trait of the "British" labs is that they are a little more docile. His dog is a little smaller than an "American" lab, and it just hangs out at my dad's feet while he's watching TV. A great dog.

Silver and platinum labs are more popular with the travel ball moms.

I have a buddy who is on #3&4 of white labs. We disagree on qhich lab looks better. He loves his huge british labs; I love my athletic American Lab.

He pays a ton of money for his labs....but they are very relaxed and chill dogs.

Goat. Best dog we’ve ever had. Bought her in Blacksburg VA. She turns six this month, weighs 105. 1st two years were hard, she chewed errrything and she ran into a car...left dent in car, knocked her out for 3 min...walked away fine. Will buy another one next year.

Sounds like an unsophisticated, obese American lab.
