Probably 30yrs ago, a pair of Lacrosse All Temp boots. Leather uppers, rubber bottoms, had 2 liners & a sole insert for warmer temperatures. Best pair of outdoor boots I’ve ever owned…

About 6 years ago…. wife (no pics) got me a custom cover for Covers Unlimited for my 22’ NauticBay.

She hooked up, trailered the boat to Central for them to measure and fit the cover, then brought it back home and backed into storage spot beside shed. Boat was gone nearly a month and I didn’t even notice.

Cover is trailerable and fits like a glove.

Honda XR 80

My brother and I got Honda 80s one Christmas and that's what I'd drive to squirrel and deer hunt after school and each Saturday morning.

The next best Christmas gift I got was a portable deer stand that I carried and set up on the slough back behind our house.

Besides my first shotgun (20 ga.), those were my most memorable outdoors gifts.

My mother gave me a pirogue. I think it was in 1984, but I
could be off by a year. I hunted in it last Saturday with my son. Thanks Mom.

I used some Christmas money and bought myself a thermal scope last year.

I love it.

Other than that, I got a S&W 12 gauge in the early 80s. Not sure when, but it killed a lot of stuff.

My grandpa gifted me his Winchester model 94 that was made in 1923

He has since passed, and that gun means the world to me. Still feel like he is with me when I take that gun to the stand

My first deer hunting rifle. H&R .243 Handi-Rifle w/ a Tasco 3x9. I ground checked a lot of does and spikes with that gun.

In 1972 when I was 12 years old I got a Remington model 870 wingmaster 12 gauge. Killed many ducks and doves and squirrels and rabbits and one deer (shot by my brother’s friend). Still have it and will pass it on.

A Savage Model 10 in .243 my dad bought from Wal-mart in 2005. I have killed a pile of deer and hogs with that rifle, and my nephew killed his first deer with it a few weeks ago. It's still the most accurate rifle I own, despite my newer rifles being thousand dollar guns with much better scopes.

I’ve always said, and still believe, the .270 Savage 110 I got in 1994 is the most accurate rifle I’ve ever owned. My son shoots it now and it’s still a tack driver. Amazing from a Walmart purchased rifle for probably $249.

Browning BAR safari 270 in 95. I killed piles and piles of deer with it. I need to clean it and get it out of the safe. Haven’t shot it in years now. It’s a great gun. Would it be blasphemy to have it threaded and suppressed?

Also many more I could add. All I ever wanted was guns or hunting stuff. I’ve got bibs over 20 years old I still wear from Santa.

I agree. I bought one in the mid 90’s from a drug addict for $100. Hunt with it all the time. Love that rifle.
