I had been carrying a little Spyderco Ladybug since 2019. Lost it about a month ago. All of my other knives were much larger and I didn't like carrying any of them every day. I got a Spyderco Byrd Robin (on Amazon). It feels too big too. I may order another Spyderco Ladybug 3 9On Amazon)

This thread had me ask to pull a Bugout from behind the glass. Once I felt how light and thin it was compared to my $45 current knife, I decided to get it. Can't even tell its there. Straight out the box, I just hit my strop and can shave with it. Impressed with that edge out of the box.

I’ll still carry a Buck 110 or a ka-bar mock 110 but my ZT and ravencrest OTF are tanks. That fixed blade holds an edge like nothing else. It all just depends on what you actually do with your edc

Another vote for the Osborne. I got the 940-1 and liked it so much but couldn’t justify carrying it everyday, so i got the 940 as well.
I also have the bugout and mini bugout as well as a few spydercos. I prefer the benchmade overall because of the action. But can’t really go wrong with any of them.

I usually carry a Benchmade Bugout. Sometimes I carry a Spyderco Dragonfly when I want something smaller. Both are very light weight.

I like the scales. I quit carrying mine and carry a Para 3 since it feels a lot more sturdy. Did the new scales make it feel more solid?

Buy whatever you like, but know that Civivvi is owned by the Chinese CCP.

I do like the assisted opening and having a lock blade and I prefer it to have a pocket clip. Any suggestions?
I’ve had the Benchmade Osborne for a year now and love it.

I got the 940 carbon fiber, thought I lost it so I went and bought the 9400 auto and ended up finding my 940. I really like them both.
I also picked up a Spyderco Parata for $110 on the seconds sale. I mainly carry that knife. They’re discontinued now. If I would’ve known I was going to like it so much and not be able to buy another one, I would’ve bought 2-3.

I carry a Benchmade Osborne or a Benchmade Medator. Love both of them!!

I’ve really enjoyed a Kershaw folder with the Emerson Wave. It’s way less expensive than a bonafide Emerson. I find it more comfortable to wear at work than a fixed blade & with the Wave notch it’s ready for action as soon as I pull it out of my pocket.

It was because of the OB I did the exact same thing. Once I held the Bugout, I knew I was going to get one
