Oof, no way. Everybody would expect me to supply firewood and then burn it all up with their "kick fires," whatever that is.

If you'd like a re-education on rifle cartridges or broadhead choices I'm sure I could work up a few rants.

We ought to get a group together and lease some pasture in the McComb/Natchez corridor and do an OB Dove Club or someting like that.
Wickowick and I have a dove lease in Brusly we have been hunting for about 10 years and hammering em. He told me he extended the invitation to a bunch of folks here and no one else wanted to get in.

I would be curious to hear/ get some info on the wood cutting/ firewood a poster made mention of. My 17 yr old sons are doing firewood, this is their second season. This will be the first they are really trying to do it big. Last year they sold 40 cords, this year they have a much bigger goal.

Not sure about OG
Last time he was asked about on here I reached out to him. He said he doesn't post anymore but still lurks.
He came by my shop one day and said he was OG, took me a minute to realize what he was talking about.

Holy shite this is starting to feel like ole times with everyone coming out the woodwork.
NC, an OG OB gtg would be awesome. I missed most if the others but will make it a point to make it if one materializes.
FF was good people, we got together on a hunt with some other OBers back in my college days.
Is ChoirBoy still smashing green? That bastard you post some serious straps.

That would be cool. Right in my backyard.

We could go to the cottage and make nametags and stuff. I promise I won't put someone else's handle on my name tag.

I was splitting wood with an axe after work every evening. Enough to cover some of my books for the year. I'm probably not the correct person to ask about running an actual firewood business.
Only advice I have is sell good stuff and you'll get a call back every single year. Lots of people sell anything they can split and stack no matter how wet or trashy it is. Sell good 1 year dried hardwood stored under a roof, and everybody will call back every year and want more.
