I shoot an Assassin as well. Never shot a deer with a bow yet. Hopefully that changes this year. I joined a lease in Arkansas mainly for bow hunting last year, but tore my bicep and couldn’t shoot it.
I won’t let myself get a new bow until i hit P&Y with this bow.

Broke down and upgraded to a Hoyt Ventum 30 about 4 weeks ago. Absolutely in love with shooting it.

Sold my compounds after last year. Been shooting a Bear Super Kodiak but have a Toelke Whistler on the way. Yes I’m an idiot. Yes, it’s fun as shite and I wish I had started years ago.

My shoulders the last couple of years led me to get a CAM procedure clean out of my right one in June so I've been doing the crossbow thing. Wicked Ridge.

PSE DNA SP. Its a 2014 bow still shoots decent. Let off is mediocre compared to stuff that is out now but it works for me.

Did that heavily in 2011-2016
Body damage was very evident.
Left shoulder, surgery on right middle finger. I still have 2 high dollar customs, but i gave up Trad. Sticking with the compounds.
I do have a 10 pt. Titan xbow. I am not handicap, other than the recurve bow tearing me up. I use it late Dec & January for the fast pace rut action. But mainly otherwise leave it home.

A Bowtech Destroyer that’s like 12 years old. Have taken out many critters with it over the years. Limbs haven’t blown up yet so I’m still rockin it.

An old beat to hell Golden Eagle Orion 1990 model with an overdraw (remember those things) and 26” Easton XX75 aluminum arrows and 100 grain rage hypodermics. It kills and I don’t shoot past 30 yards. You should see the looks I get when at parking lot at WMA. Classic.
