Catch and release. I probably caught 6-8 before needing to leave. They were biting at a pretty fast rate once I found the school.

Fog sucked. Missed a bunch of a big fish. Cleared up a little after 12pm and my friend was able to stick this big girl on a short shot and get her to the boat. No clue how big she was. Sorry the pictures suck. Same fish in both pictures.

That's what this one is 17/56. Found it on LASMAG, bought it from a guy in Larose. I've been looking for close to 2 years and finally pulled the trigger on one.
ETA; I have/had a few things to fix, trailer lights, loose throttle, bilge pump isn't getting power and I need to change out the trolling motor plug, it works but its loose. I knew all of that going in there would be a few kinks to work out though.

Sometimes they go very quickly, I've called about some with an add 2 hours old and they were sold. This one the ad wasnt very good, the guy I bought it froms son put it up. No contact information or anything.

Limits of ducks on Saturday; Sunday didn't pull the trigger. Kind of a strange first split. Lots of guys caught fish in Shell beach area, but gnats are bad when wind dies

Nice haul. Pics on FB looked like slick water.
Managed some sac-awe-perch in the river around the camp. Didn't feel like running all over the spillway, just a good relaxing weekend at the camp.

7man limit of ducks outta one spot. Couple of assholes decided they were going to set up in open water 200yds in front of our spread at 8:30am. We proceeded to shoot our limit while they got peppered all morning. One of em had a neon snapback. I hope they got leaky waders.
