where do you hunt in GC. I am heading down there too. Lots of ducks if you have water. Grays, teal, widgeon, pintails. Also a lot of specks if you have a place to goose hunt.

did you scout any?? wheres your camp?

They had ducks during teal season, but now I have no idea. I have no idea where the camp is, it is for a buddy of mine who invited me. Hopefully they have some ducks if not I have enough beer to make the time pass.

It's all good, just feeling the pain of my friends who are sitting on the sandbar at low tide with a v-bottom boat. As much as that sucks I'd still rather be there than at work..

And yeah, with most of the trees dead now our camp stands out like a sore thumb.

Did ya'll see many birds? I'm dying to get down there.

Grays

I've seen a lot of the people that hunt in LA talk about these. What type of duck is it? Or is it actually called a Grey Duck? Just never hear of them up here...

Saugs, yes very good number of birds. Youth hunt was over as soon as the kids could hit what they were shooting at.

Going hunting in Welsh, and i was told there were a lot of geese not so much ducks. A bunch of my friends are going to Wax lake. Heard some pretty good reports from there. i think itll just be nice to be in the blind for the first time this year.

I'll be out there in Dularge too. Heard good reports of some ducks from youth weekend. Hopefully they haven't figured out what's up and left yet. Good luck guys.

I'll be over there in the morning for a work day.

My eye is starting to twitch. I can't wait!
