Weber grill - buy a new one or replace parts

So my weber grill (spirit 300 series) is about 5 years old.
Should I buy a new grill or replace the parts... I need to replace the flavorizers, new grilling grates, and possibly replace the burners
Would this be worth it or should I trash it and get a new one?
It looks like parts could end up being close to 200-250

Is there a possibility that you would yell at your SO as you replace said parts and scrape your knuckles? If so, buy new.

About 5 years old or under 5 years old?
If under 5 years you may or may not have warranty coverage for flavorizer bars and grates dependent upon type. 2-5 years warranty
Warranty on stainless burner tubes is 10 years
Call Weber they have excellent customer
service
Grates and flavorizer bars will take about 5 minutes to replace including 3 beer drinking breaks. Hit the burner tube openings with a wire brush while the grates and bars are off and you're probably good to go. Add 10 additional minutes and 6 beer drinking breaks for this step.

Those parts are about $40-$50/set so maybe you should do some more online shopping for parts. Burners probably just need to be cleaned with a $0.75 wire brush and hot water. Maybe poke a pin through the gas orifice too. You are looking at maybe $100 in parts and an hour of your time if you are halfway handy with fixing stuff.

If I'm spending $250, just buy a new one for $400.
I have a 10 year old E320 and I have only replaced the flavorizing bars and the ignitor, so maybe $50.
I do have a new one in the box I got for $349 with a lowes coupon.

If it’s registered and under warranty, the parts will be free
Weber has great customer service

My Genesis Silver B is 13 years old and I’ve done just this. I think the burners are original though.

I also have a 13 year old genesis silver b. Bought thicker grates and flavorizer bars off of eBay and it's as good a new. Went with aftermarket stainless steel.

Burner tubes will be replaced for free under warranty. If you have cast iron grates and they have rusted through, they will also be replaced under warranty. For the flavorizer bars look for a dude named Rcplanebuyer on eBay, he makes a thicker gauge flavorizer bar that will last a lifetime and they are not much more, if any than Weber’s.

I'm looking into possibly buying a new one myself. Want gas grill side and a griddle side in a double grill

Burners are fine and aren’t corroded.
It does take a minute for the third burner to kick on which has been that way the past year when I would use it.
Just needs new flavorizers and grates. The electric igniter broke years ago so I got use to using a long lighter. I’ll try to replace that as well.

I've had a weber genesis for 12 years and it's still in great order but just covered in Northern winters.
What'd you do to it that hurry it so badly?

My Genesis Silver is about 15 yrs old and I've replaced the parts about 3 times. The next time I think I'll replace mine tho.

its not in that bad of shape but i need to replace those two parts
I also remember why I stop grilling on it after I got the blackstone griddle... The temp. was hard to keep steady. It just seemed like it would run freaking hot every single time. I was hard to get the temp to maintain at 300 or 350.
even when I have the knobs on the lowest setting, it was running over 450/500 every single time
any suggestions on how to fix that? I want to say i changed out regulators at one point or my old roommate did... could that be the issue?

I’m at year 13 on my Silver B. What are you thinking about replacing yours with?
