I like their long handles. Wouldn't be caught dead in a polo, hat or hoodie though.

I was tired of my old, cheap camo. I went to cabelas with an open checkbook and looked at everything they had. I liked the scentlok more than anything they had, regardless of price. I'm sure some of those small, high priced brands are nice, but cabelas doesnt carry them.

As if you needed any more reason to buy Sitka

UA is cheap material and worthless anyway. Bought it back in early 2000's and it was junk tried some a couple years back still junk. No loss that's for sure.

I have an Under Armour fleece suit that I bought in 2011 that is still in great condition. I "upgraded" to Sitka and it lasted less than one damn season before it had snags, pulls, and tears.

Sarah Bowmar is known more as a fitness competitor than a hunter. Under armour was using her fitness celebrity to try to get into the growing female hunting market. I couldn't care less if they drop a female "hunter" that couldn't kill an animal without an outfitter. I guarantee they wouldn't have dropped Cam Hanes, the Drurys, or the Lakoskys.

You didn't 'upgrade" if you went with Sitka. that's just as bad... cheap inferior fabrics.

Honestly I've tried about every brand and First Lite and UA are my favorites for comfort and durability.

Been looking at first lite base layers instead of UA, might be a reason to go ahead now...

HUK and Nomad Outdoor were started by ex UA executives who felt that UA was missing a huge market by not getting in both the fishing and hunting apparel.

I'm not trying to change the world. It's just the principle. If a company is going to sponsor an athlete, they should support the sport as well. It's not like she was pulling a Jared from Subway or something like that. She was doing what they pay her to do!

There are plenty of other hunting apparel companies out there that make great products to satisfy my needs.

I guess they are going to have to pull all their offshore fishing sponsors too because they gaf the fish. Seems inhumane and painfull.

Way overpriced anyway

I like their stuff but the marketing campaign towards kids turns me off. Of course all the other Co's do it also.

Well I could've told you that would've happened.

You serious? Every show I've ever watched (which is not very many) all of these shmucks mentioned was hunting on some intensively managed property or "ranch". "I want to thank Billy Jack Jordan with Mossy Back Split Toe whitetail ranch here in Southern Ill."

You can't really film a season worth of shows on your home ground. It would be pretty shitty television watching a full season of hunting to fill 1 or 2 buck tags.

Most of those guys can actually hunt. The Drurys, Waddell, Lakoskys, etc. all film hunts on their own land and all got in the industry by being accomplished hunters. Hell, Cam Hanes does a lot of DIY public land hunts. This chick has killed two bucks in her life. She's a creation by an apparel company and is doing it for marketing purposes.

I don't give a shite who a company sponsors however I don't buy UA because there are other brands with better products for the price, customer service, and warranty.

Also - bear "hunting" over a huge barrel of bait that a guide brought you to takes 0 skill no mater what weapon you use to actually make the kill. I will never understand why people pay thousands to do it.

Don't care, will continue to buy UA heat/cold gear for riding. Works great in sweaty leathers and cold days.

About over the young girl hunting sponsorships because they are young girl hunters anyway. Unfriended someone on my Facebook that does nothing but spam these young girl hunters all day long. Dude is 60+ with no kids, probably a pedo. Don't want that frick being able to look at my daughter growing up.

Because they left UA to do their own thing? Their products are high quality for sure. Yes, they sponsor our show. Though having tried their products I'd buy them in any event. Just my opinion

I suggest hunters take a long look at incidents like that. Those so called tolerant folks don't care for your hunting.
