You saw the entrance wound six months ago and knew he was shot?

Or just thought it was a cut from something and just noticed the billet.

That's pretty cool how it came to the surface. Amazing how tough dogs are.

I dug a pellet out of the face of my lab a few years ago, about 2" from his eye. I was pissed

A trashy neighbor's lab kept coming over to a buddy of mine's parents' place and eating their dog's food. His dad finally got tired of running him off, so one morning he went out there and shot him in the head with a .38 special. The dog bolted under the truck and hung out there for awhile, but was back hanging out with my buddy's dogs shortly. Come to find out the bullet entered but didnt penetrate his skull, rather it traveled beneath his scalp, around his skull, and exited on the other side. So he had an entry wound on the left side of his head, and exit wound on the right, and was otherwise unscathed. At that point his dad could only laugh, and adopted the dog. They still have it as far as i know.

I'd start your inquiry at your local Chinese restaurants. Apparently puppies are tender.

Nice try on the happy ending attempt, but that dude is still a POS for shooting a dog that did not harm anyone and was just trying to survive.

I whole heartedly agree, was simply sharing the story as an example to what was said about dogs being tough bastards.

That dog is biding it's time. I'd be careful.
