I've been to clubs that banned drinking at the camp too
Could not have it on the property at my last lease. I would drive to Jonesville for a 6er during LSU games.

NE LA ritual but I am not a fan of drinking while hunting. At the camp, great, but not when having access to a firearm.

Sounds like my kind of place. At my old place, we had a clock with all 11s on it and wallpaper with three bucks in the woods that took up an entire wall. That way, when the wives asked, we always got in around 11 and saw three bucks every morning.

personally i find that drinking while hunting/fishing makes me tired now. i'd rather hunt/fish hard all day and then have something to drink at the house/camp/ride home. i don't really give a shite if someone else wants to do it though, as long as they aren't getting shite-house drunk while we're duck hunting.

As others have said a lot depends on the maturity of the hunters. Younger hunters tend to be there to drink and cut up more than hunt. I'd rather not hunt with them. But with serious, mature hunters it's not a problem. They won't allow it to be a problem.

I'm a huge fan of drinking beer, and a bigger fan of hunting. That being said, I don't do them together 99% of the time. I drink a couple beers when I go duck hunting with my father in law, and that's about it.

I do, however, get stupid presidentially drunk fishing and frogging (not if I'm driving a boat, but maybe if I'm paddling around running lines in borrow pits). So much so that often times I'm scared to check in the ice chest in the morning in fear of keeping something ridiculous.
