Wilderness Ride 135 with airpro Max seat. Very comfortable and stable. A little on the heavy side, but I can spend all day on the water in it. Caught many a fish with it. Can stand and sight fish. Seat has three positions, high, low, and recline.

I couldn't manage my end of the 2 man limit of reds today, because of all the shorts. Solid haul regardless.

Nice. Where’d y’all fish?

We fished big lake this am. It was pretty shitty... 2 trout and 1 puppy drum.

Not sure if you knew but I was the other guy in the Outback on Saturday. Big Lake sucks. Two times out there and nothing to show for it. I came upon an area after you guys headed out in that first cut to the right that was the perfect place to catch reds and nada. There was nice current and baitfish and not even a bite. Maybe I just suck at fishing! I threw everything from topwater, matrix shad on jighead, and dead shrimp. I am not going back West for some time. I will start going East even if the drive is longer.

I have been to West Cove twice and encountered these conditions and yet to have my first bite in the marsh. lake only for me.

I talked to some guide buddies on the lake Saturday evening. What few trout they caught were under birds around Long Point. They ended up fishing the ship channel for reds.

It sounds like it was just a shitty day.

It really was, we were in the same area as some of yall to start out the day, blue 24' Nautic Stat with the T top. I saw Uncle Jack, I think Lefty and No8 out there before we left. Ran all over the place and never did find clean water anywhere. Put 1 trout in the boat in West Cove and that was all.

I caught 12 freaking catfish out there. I'm in agreement in heading East for the next few trips.

Did any of yall try to sneak back into that little marsh cut area just south of the canal to Crab Lady? Or was the water too low?

Haven't been fishing since March. My back just can't take low paddling anymore. Hopefully my blue sky boat won't be too much longer. I'm dying to go.

I fished that entire marsh. I caught a small croaker, nothing else.
