Yes, in front of the camps. Has anyone been catching there lately? And where are the redfish out there? Last time we went we all got schooled.

I heard good things about the commissary/Piconi area this past weekend. It may be worth putting in at Hebert’s and heading south.

Eta: MU and Lefty, you bitches better stay the hell out of my fishing spots!

It seems like it is not just your fishing spot! Besides when you get your new kayak we would probably beat you to the spot anyway with dat Hobie Outback power.

So are you now considering the Radar? 115 or 135?

Not really, I was just asking No8 about his out of curiosity. I think the sides are a bit too low on the Wilderness Systems. I feel like You would get soaked if you ran into chop.

I kind of like the drive on the WS plus the large tank well on the 135. That's why I wouldn't buy the Jackson, there is no room in it.

I don't think this is a thing.

Anyone fished around GM/Fourchon lately? Headed down this weekend and will probably get hammered by the wind. Have never launched the kayak at GI, but may give it a shot at some point if not catching North.

Any Nucanoe Pursuit owners here? Love the yak layout, but am concerned about the new pedal drive. Was curious if anyone has one.

Looks like a S or SE wind, I'd launch on the backside of the island at the kayak launch, fish near the rocks and the artificial reef, fish near the island across from the launch, etc.

ETA: That is, if you do find yourself launching on the island.

Thanks. That's pretty much what I had in mind if we make it down there. If nothing else, should be protected from the wind a little better.
