I saw this is the first week for the Clock Out Classic on Wednesdays. Is it only limited to the specific spot for that week or is it open to all freshwater? I'd like to participate but would have to stay closer to CENLA since I would be going after work

I'm just going to limit them to Lake Martin since it's mainly Lafayette based, I tried doing one in Henderson last year and that didn't work out at all.

Dern. I guess I’ll have to take my below average fishing talents elsewhere.

At one point I had considered doing it as a “fish anywhere” thing but that just sets up the “he won because he’s closer to better fishing than me” argument, unfortunately. I know bckfc tried to get something similar going last year on that end but I think it fell apart due to lack of interest.

We're working on lining up Alvin Youngblood Hart to play Artie's Friday night for our little stouts and trouts event.

How much better is a pedal kayak (Native/Hobie Mirage) than a traditional kayak?

Does it make any of y’all get out there more? I’m assuming it’s much easier.

Is this a good deal? Pescador Pro package

I’d obviously have to get some more accessories. For the record, I’ll be doing inshore fishing along the MS Gulf Coast.

I’d buy the pedal kayak if it’s really that much easier, although they’re definitely more expensive. I feel like it’d make me more likely to get out there.

Nah just an ongoing joke. But a pedal yak is DEFINITELY better than a paddle yak IMO. Our crew is mostly hobie and one wilderness... All have pros and cons, just find the one that works best for you.

Yeah I just got a lil JBL for now... wanted something a little smaller than what you had posted. Gonna try it this week at the beach.

I almost bought that. If you plan to cover any water at all, get the 12.
