Managed to find a few trout in Big Lake yesterday. All caught on plastics. By 10:00 the wind got too bad that my yak was getting blown all over the place.
I heard mixed reports across the lake. Someone had a limit of reds in WC and another person I talked to found a small school of trout in Prien.

I’ll gladly take some trout but I seen to do better with reds from the yak fishing north of Hwy 1. I’ll go to Elmer’s in the afternoon and fish the surf Saturday afternoon more than likely. I just hope none of my buddies bring fireball this year...

Never actually done it in a yak. I am guessing we will just carry them over to that side from the camp. Or, we may just paddle/peddle around from the back.
