The dude who won the Solo told me he had won a shotgun in a raffle just the night before.

typical PP weather though, what else do you expect. Heading down in the morning in search of a flounder hole for Saturday. This north wind for 3 days prior to Saturday ought to really have the water looking nice.

Fishing is always good if you can find clean water and the wind is low. I know a lot of the water is private because it used to be land before it eroded but I think most people don't minds ya fishing on it as long as you're not there during duck season.

I am a first time buyer - looking for 2 kayaks to use in the Cocodrie area where we have a camp. Any recs? Was planning on talking to the folks at Massey's. Looking for something nice.

Slayer 12 in grey would be perfect.

I saw that Pack & Paddle has a NuCanoe Pursuit for sale for $700. I think they also have an ATAK for $1,200ish. Those are pretty good deals for really nice yaks

Might as well get a pedal kayak now. You'll end up with one eventually anyway.

Thanks for the input.

Are the pedal yaks that much easier? Probably a dumb question.
