Would be best to spray then wait about 5 days before cutting

I sprayed Sunday morning. Didn't get rain until sunday night. The clovers have grown since then

Shouldn't make a difference. Once whatever you spray dries it has entered the plant.
Mow right before spray works good. Then you won't have tall dead weeds.

Should not make a big difference but if spraying before cutting you have more surface area and less chance of missing a weed

That Buttonweed sucks. I fought it all last year and it won.

Certified Government Ornamental & Turf Pesticide Applicator here....and that is indeed a correct statement
Thanks. The statement sounded reasonable, but I just wanted to make sure it was coming from a reliable source. Now, what's the best herbicide to use for a range of crap (mostly clover)?

I have bermuda grass so I spray 2-4d and atrazine in February and September. I spray msma during summer months.

Just bought some spray with 2-4-d from lowes, gonna wait and let the ground dry for a few days, then spray, then mow. Clover is everywhere.

Yard is still soaked from all the rain, would like to get this weed killer down today before it rains again next week... Will the ground being kinda soggy hurt its effectiveness?

Some help Please
I have this different looking "grass" in the middle of my back yard in two large circular patches of about 15 ft in diameter and 10 ft in diameter. It is course and when damp can bog down a lawnmower. It doesn't mat the ground well despite it being course, so the area seems like hard ground with course sod on top. See below:

There is a border between where my good sod (not sure of type, but think it's SA) and this different "grass/weed" grows:

Any help on how to get rid of the course crap and spread the good grass would be appreciated. I am ignorant when it comes to lawn care, so please be specific with brand of weed control and where to get it. TIA.

What are the little white flowers the pop up after you cut the grass and what to use to kill them? I have centipede grass.

Put the Weed N Feed down earlier this morning. Will give it a few weeks and look to reseed about a month from now.

Wild onion. Use any three way herbicide (Trimec, WeedFree Zone, etc) or Image nutsedge killer.

Atrazine takes longer to kill clover, but works longer due to some residual effect. Anything with 2,4-D will work, just be careful on grass like centipede that's sensitive to 2,4-D.

By be careful, you mean water it down or find something else? Not sure what grass we have, but clover has absolutely taken over and it needs to go.
