How do you hunt them? Dogs?
Typically about 4 or 5 of us surround a big briar patch and someone on a 4 wheeler will drive through it and they'll scatter. Wait till they run past and then shoot. Lots of fun and challenging cause they're hauling arse.

Start fire. Drink a few. Go back after its out and stomp whats left. Might be doing it wrong, but here's last years hunt.

Most of the time its kind of impromptu, I go out to woods with all intentions to squirrel hunt that morning and seems I end up finding a rabbit under every bush and around every curve in the road

1. I believe that to be illegal.

2. Sounds highly dangerous.

I'm not a big fan of rabbit hunting with dogs. I'd rather jump shoot them. I've heard after a good rain its fun to pick them off with a .22 and aided by artificial light and consuming alcoholic beverages. Seems like it would be illegal though so I would never participate in such an event

I love to hear some good beagles run a rabbit

Are Spinoff rabbits like Marsh rabbits or Blacktail Jack Rabbits?

That's the only fun part. I'd rather hear a dog tree a coon or squirrel myself

we usually just sit on the hood of the truck with shotguns and drive the roads after dark...

This is, I mean "would be," one of my favorite activities if it weren't illegal.

Its all fun and games till someone tries to save their beer and falls off the hood.

John Deere is a great rabbit dog. Course that is illegal so don't use it.

Beagles, the more the merrier. I like at least 6, with all different barks, then you get that nice sound.

I drive around on a 4 Wheeler and visit all our food plots after deer season and shoot them with my 17 hmr!
