Something crawling in the attic..

So I live upstairs in an apartment and for the last couple of weeks Ive been hearing crawling and scratching noises above me..I thought it was just random noises at first but its getting louder now and I can hear it moving around the room but it only goes about 6 feet like its blocked by something..Im in North Dallas and I havent seen a coon or possum in my 9 months being here but I see plenty of rabbits..the office is closed for the Holiday and my SO is creeped out..what to do??

A mouse or squirrel makes a lot of noise in an attic chewing on things at night. I once swore I had a coon in the attic. Turned out to be mice. I now have flying squirrels. Gonna start hunting them in the attic at night.
