Saturday cooking and drinking just cus I haven’t seen one in a while

Couple pounds of shrimp, white cans and Tyler Childers on the music box. Turkey hunted this morning didnt hear a gobble, life is

Porter house, crazy potatoes , vodka tonic with plenty of lime

I worked 14 hours today and don’t feel like cooking shite. Liquor doesn’t last in this house, so all I have is wine. I guess I’ll eat some leftover crawfish stew. Happy Saturday, OB.

At Percy Quinn with the wife and kids for the weekend.
Cooked some pork steaks over the fire. Griiled onions, peppers and zucchini to go with it .
Sipping on some wild turkey by the fire watching the race from Martinsville with my middle son.
Life is good.

My son caught a few bream this morning. The wind has been brutal the last couple days and the water is muddy. I haven’t seen many fish caught.

I made a jambalaya with my 73 year old father in law.
Had a few beers. Built a small radio box w speakers for his golf cart and got it working. He was thrilled.
Took a ride in his cart jamming to Hank Jr while having a few natty lights.
It was a good day.

Put a small 10lb prime brisket packer on the smoker at 9am. Scalloped potatoes sensation salad and fresh green beans later.
