Wade Seago shot this 820 pound wild hog 5 yards from his front porch in Samson, Alabama. The family dog, a small schnauzer alerted Seago that something was up.

Only hog that gets that size spends all day eating 28% protein pellets from a trough

I guess letting it out of the pen is considered wild in Alabama.

Wade mounted a turkey for me when I was in high school. Full strut. Did a damn fine job.

I see ear notches on that right ear. Looks like litter number 27. We've had 2 escaped pigs in our area. One was shot and was 400lbs and the other is still being spotted every now and then.

Lol at 820 lbs too. I'll give it 420, that's certainly not bigger than an elk and an 820 lb elk is big. Even if that guy is 300 lbs which he isn't that hog isn't 3 times his size.

Why do people make up stories this absurd.

The hog was the neighbors pen raised hog and it got out and the man shot it. It does still have its nuts. Hard to see but they are up there. And was no where close to 820. There are other pics of it going around too

@Gardendalehogdogger It was a feeder from a local. It was in a pen until last week when it escaped while the owners were on vacation
