I've got pics this week of two nice eight points together feeding. Every night for two weeks. This is unusual for this time of year. Anyone hunt this area seeing this?

I'm hunting north west of Ruston and have several shooters on camera but can't see them during the day.

All I'm seeing is spikes and does

I can't figure out if the rut is over or if it hasn't started

We are about 20 min NE of Woodville. Not seeing any rut activity quite yet, but the bucks have busted up.

I haven't hunted much this year. But yesterday afternoon I saw a fair amount of chasing in my food plot. Also, we got a picture of a big buck checking a scrap at 11:40 am on Friday and he was swelled up. Where we are in Claiborne county, the rut peaks around Christmas. It's gonna be warm and rainy for a couple of days. Then it should bust wide open when that front comes through towards the end of this week. The week between Christmas and NYE looks fantastic.

I have family that killed 4 mature bucks that Friday of the snow and that Sunday.

One over 150.

Im close enough to Wilkinson Co to hear a shot on the southern line.

Like BigHoss said, we are having earlier than normal pre-rut activity. Saw a 3 yr old chase a doe yesterday and they are working scrapes like crazy.

North of Centerville, we have only seen a few scrapes and only a few small bucks following does. Overall, it hasn't kicked in yet, but I expect it to happen soon. Like y'all have said, it'll probably happen toward the end of the week.
