Is the Reggio Marina closed? I remember reading somewhere a while back that the marina was going to be closed but haven’t been down there in a while. Was a perfect spot to launch a kayak.

Last time I drove by you couldn’t even get in the parking lot due to all the rip rap being stored in the parking lot. I used to fish out of there all the time but haven’t heard of anyone launching there in quite some time. I run there from hopedale or sweet water now if I want to fish Reggio.

Pretty sure you can't launch there. Might be camper spots only now I heard.

Yeah it's closed. Bummer, was a really good place to kayak fish.

But... you can still combat launch over there.

Reggio marina is no more, but Sweetwater is business as usual with some upgrades following last summer's storms. Has a food truck I hear, and upgraded cabins. Launch and all still the same

I thought I had heard you could combat launch across the street from the marina and still access the same area.

Was there last Thursday, pretty decent little spot and includes a slip.

Google street view from March 2023 shows some new boat launch signs. Anyone know if the launch is back open or if it is only for people staying there?

It was supposed to be only of staying there. Been a few months since I've heard anything though.
