Go to Walmart buy a sign saying “Please, no wasps allowed in trailer” post near entrance and soon they will all willfully pack up their belongings and find a different home.

Nah, my utility trailer gets a test shot with Spectracide Pro before I put my hands near the tongue.

Also, this stuff is the best by far:

Super Soaker with a healthy mix of Dawn and water. Fun for the whole family.

It amazes me how quickly soap and water kills those things.

I keep a spray bottle with castille soap and water specifically for killing wasps around the house. Knocks em down and kills them almost instantly.

After you kill them spray some window foam up inside there so wasps cant build a nest in them The foam is easy to cut away if you need to rewire your trailer.

Or you can stuff some steel wool up in there, that works well too.

Over the years I had this happen a few times.
Spray near nest with wasp spray.
Find other end of opening.
Put hose in hole.
Back up from trailer unless you are special.
Open up water and that will flush them out.

Using foggers is oft overlooked. Especially if you can use a garbage bag as mentioned. Send them to the gas chamber.

This place has really gone down hill when we have a 3 page thread on how to kill some wasps in the tongue of a trailer.

Use the wasp spray but either go out early in the morning or late at night when they are dormant. If you try it at 12pm when they’re all hot and filled with hatred you’ll regret it.

If you are not in a rush just coat the opening with regular home bug spray. As they come in and out they will get a dose and bring it to the nest. Will not be instant but still effective. I get them under my rv fridge vent and in the side mirrors. I just spray like I do in the house and a few days later they are gone.
