I have a red wasp nest inside my trailer frame in the area somewhere about where the coupler connects to the trailer frame. Area circled in red. I tried spraying some wasp spray from a distance into the coupler but it didn't work. Tilting the trailer up isn't an option. Any suggestions?

Ball up a little bit of newspaper on the end of a pole, pour some gas or charcoal lighter on the paper, light it and stick it under the tongue of the trailer.

Git er done.

ETA: do this quickly and it should burn off the wings in just a second or two and not harm your trailer wiring. They'll drop and you can then spray them.

Your welcome to come over and give it a try. It will require sticking the wasp spray nozzle up inside where the trailer ball goes and give it a blast.

Hook it up to your truck
Bang on the tongue enough to piss them off enough to come out
Drive your truck around or just move the trailer for a bit

you cant afford my services. you sound like a wimp. How are you going to let the wasps win? you take it slow. go out and spray as they fer fiesty and you kill a handful. go inside and wait 15 mins. then do it again.... soon you will kill most.

Go tie a plastic bag over the tongue and suffocate the bastards.

But honestly I faced the same situation last year...I didn't know they were in there until one popped me when I walked by. The wasp spray shoots a straight line about 10 feet...you can squat down and get a straight line shot in your trailer and still keep your distance....quit being a pussy.

What I did was lay on my back scoot till I could see them and let them have it with a full can. It worked and I got them, I did not get stung but I am not scared just slow and steady.

Is the tongue over cement? Take a cup of gas and sling it on the tongue and under it on the cement. The rising fumes will get them.

The trailer is loaded down with some construction shite and the coupler is about 6" off the ground. I may try lifting the trailer a little to get an angle to spray or the garbage bag may be and option

or wait till dusk/night and walk up to the trlr and spray them. they go dormant at night. That's usually the best time to deal with them.

the downside is you can't revel in watching those sorry bastards die in agony as you spray them. That's almost enough reason to deal with them during daylight.
