Halo Bolt. Have one in every vehicle. Starts everything I’ve hooked it to so far. Amazon has them.

I got a NOCO GB40 off of Amazon during Prime day last year. I’ve only had to use it once.

I have an everstart maxx 600mah that will crank my v8 silverado about 4 times before needing to be recharged.

I'm please with it.

Eta- the carrying bag is no good. It's destroyed from rolling in my toolbox. A case would be nice

Get the most basic one that you can find. Don't buy the Stanley one with all the crap on it.

This guys video comprehensively reviews 8 units and based on that I replaced my Noco GB40 with an Audew 2000a unit, using 2 coupons at Amazon $69 today.

I use Noco's battery tenders which are awesome, but the review convinced me in electrically load tested terms that I couldn't fully trust the GB40 to jump my Yahama 115 out in the marsh.

I read through the reviews on the Audew and just wasn’t sold. Came across more than one where the unit caught fire/exploded and several where it was dead inside of 6 months. One person ran a test on it and found its capacity to be less than advertised. That said, they all have their faults. I’ll check out the review, though, for sure.

I have a Noco GB 40 & 150. Both work great & hold a charge quite a while. I usually take them out & charge them once a year

Jump-N-Carry JNC660. Those NOCO and similar units are junk compared to it. It's a professional-grade unit with some weight to match, cables are big welding-cable pieces with matching clamps. Not the weak, undersized shite those lithium bricks use.

Excellent gift idea.

I received one years ago and have always thought of it as one of the best gifts ever.

I watched the vid linked above your post and saw on the sidebar the same guy (Project Farm) had an updated version posted 1 week ago : Project Farm battery jumper test video 11/2020
In the comments of the recent video were some complaints about the Audew Company, non responsive company and worse for those buying directly through Audew is a lot of Double Charges to credit cards/bank accounts. (of course if ordering through Amazon that's a step of protection).

I just ordered this years top rated GooLoo out of Malaysia instead of the Chyna made stuff. I've got a 10 year old Mitsubishi that the alarm drains the battery as I forget to crank it for several months. Will see how this works out and hopefully save a bunch of trips removing/replacing dead batteries at Wally World.

Thanks for that link! I need to check out that update. I saw a lot of the same complaints about Audew customer service (I start with the bad reviews on all products and work my way up).
