I'm fresh water fishing dumb. I know its like salt water fishing but you maybe use smaller stuff.

Can i just go to wally world and get a fresh water small tackle box that has some shite. Basically don't know what to get to do a bit of small bass/perch fishing in neighborhood pond for my little kids to fool around with.

just get a zebco and some beetle spins, they'll catch anything a pond has to offer.

small plastic worms or lizards are the ticket. Cheap and will catch bass in pretty much any environment.

get yourself 3 bags of plastics
1. senkos
2. brush hogs
3. something else

colors I like include purple, chartuse, and the watermelon one

small spinner baits (black is underrated IMO, but I would stick with white/chartuse is you're on a budget)

a few beetle spins

a few small crankbaits
