Is that a hybrid? It’s hard to tell but it looks like a “malpen”, I could just be an idiot though.

I know a lot of birds aren’t full plumage yet but that looks like a hybrid.

They're transitioning from summer to winter feathers right now. So they all kind of look jacked up.

Yeah probably so, I was looking at the bill, it seems wider than a normal pintail.

Guides thought it was a hybrid mallard / pintail.

Hunted with Prairie Limits in SK province.

Would you be ok giving a break down on the trip in terms of length of stay, costs, etc..?

Did they brush that blind in daily? The geese generally move a lot in Canada so that’s a dang good brushed in blind.

We hunted 2 1/2 days. Seems like the total cost with airfare and incidentals was around $4000 or so

We built the A-frame blind basically from scratch at each hunting location and then removed it afterwards
